HERBARIUM
The heritage building inside which Maanschijn crafts its wines has lived many lives. Previously a stable, it was also later inhabited by a Walker Bay local, Oom Sampie, who, within its walls, used to dry an assortment of indigenous flowers for sale at the local market.
COMPOSITION
Taste the Walker Bay through two Cape blends of its cooler, maritime and fynbos-lined vineyards. A limited collection offered from the Maanschijn cellar:

WINEMAKING
In the cellar, only authentic and low intervention methods of vinification are practised: natural fermentations, gentle pressing and extraction, aged French oak, no fining, and judicial use of sulphur.
