Luma Sauvignon blanc 2026

Luma is a series of deft wines from cooler-climate origins within the Walker Bay wine district. As a portmanteau of the Latin phrase for moonlight, lumen lunae, Luma celebrates the lunar influences on tides, vines and life within the soil.

This Luma Rosé 2026 wine is sourced from two vineyards in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. From cooler-climate fruit, this rosé of Grenache noir and Mourvèdre wine is defined by its texture and volume, by élevage in barrel.

The fruit, in whole bunches, was pressed gently and allowed to settle overnight. Fermentation occurred spontaneously in aged French casks, with maturation lasting six months, on fine lees. The wine was then blended and bottled, sans fining.
